Forest Dog Daycare, just like their nature

KIKA Dog Daycare

  • Instagram

Here, your dog spends the day exactly as they would in their ideal scenario:

• Long walks in the huge Altstetten forest (1–3 hours)

• Rest in a warm, cosy, home-style indoor space, just like home

• Small, calm groups – quality, not quantity

• No crates used as a standard. Dogs move freely; their freedom and comfort come first

• Constant supervision by a professional dog trainer with over 12 years of experience and my Malinois partner, Kaly

This is not a big commercial dog daycare. It is a boutique forest daycare for dogs that are already social, enjoy nature and feel good in small, balanced packs.

Kaly - the four-legged co-trainer

Kaly, my 10-year-old Malinois, is not just “the trainer’s dog”. She is fully trained for this work and acts as a dynamic therapy / role-model dog: she helps in the car, on forest walks, in the indoor rest area, and she shows other dogs how a balanced pack member behaves. Most daycare dogs read and mirror her behaviour – it is like following a real, healthy pack in nature, earning to behave like pack dogs, not chaotic pets.

Why KIKA Dog Daycare?

Experience
12 years professional K9 dog trainer & behaviour, FBA certified, authorised to supervise up to 19 dogs.

Safety & Structure
Small, calm groups with a trainer who reads the pack, manages energy and prevents problems before they happen.

Training in everyday life
Basic training is part of the day: walks, car, rest, play – not an “extra”, but how we live together.

What dogs would choose
Forest walks, freedom with rules, clear structure and real dog company -as dogs, not little humans.

A day at KIKA Dog Daycare

Days: Monday–Thursday
Time: 08:00–17:00
(08:00–09:00 pick-ups · 15:00–17:00 drop-offs)

08:00–09:00 – Pick-up from your home

The day starts… and you don’t have to do much 😄

  • I pick up your dog in Altstetten 8048 and nearby areas (up to 10 km).

  • You don’t need to be home – if you wish, you can give me a key and I handle everything.

  • Your dog gets into the car calmly, without crates, ready for their “forest day”.

09:00–12:00 – Forest, freedom, real dog life

This is the “wow” part of the day 🌳

  • We go to the huge Altstetten forest.

  • We walk 1–3 hours, depending on weather and group.

  • Dogs are free, wearing a long line dragging on the ground for safety.

Your dog:

  • runs, explores, sniffs,

  • works mind, nose and body,

  • moves in a calm, balanced pack, guided by me and my Kaly.

It’s the kind of day a dog would choose for themselves 💚

12:00–15:00 – Food, sleep, pack “chill mode”

After all the action comes deep relaxation 😴

  • We go back to a cozy, home-style indoor space in Altstetten, with access to a garden.

  • Dogs eat their own food,

  • settle on beds, cushions, sofa,

  • go out for short toilet breaks when needed.

The pack switches into calm mode:

  • deep sleep,

  • quiet chewing,

  • learning to share space respectfully with other dogs.

  • Small walk in the park and we get ready for drop off.

There is constant supervision -dogs are never left alone.

15:00–17:00 – Drop-off / pick-up

The day ends the way it should: tired, happy, relaxed.

  • From 15:00 I start dropping dogs back home,

  • by 17:00 everyone is back, ready to sleep on your couch 😄

👉 If you prefer, you can also pick up your dog from the daycare space between 13:00–15:00, by appointment.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

How many dogs per day?
Up to 8 dogs, usually 4–5, to keep the pack calm and well supervised.

Do you have FBA?
Yes. I am FBA certified and authorised to supervise up to 19 dogs at once, which means safe, professional group management.

Do you accept large dogs?
Yes, but places for big dogs are limited.
They must be leash trained, social and safe.

Will my dog be crated?
No crates as a standard.
A few crates exist and are used only for specific dogs, for short, controlled rest, and owners are always informed.

What if my dog does not fit in the group?
If a dog struggles, doesn’t respect other dogs or creates ongoing tension, we stop daycare for that dog.
The calm and safety of the pack always come first.

Yes. The whole day is structured like training: calm car loading, group forest walks, respect for space, healthy play, relaxation.
Dogs learn all day through this structure.

Will I get photos and videos?
Yes 😊 I regularly share photos and videos on Instagram so you can see how your dog spends their day – at no extra cost.
