👥 Training starts from the human
In reality, I don’t just train dogs — I mainly train the humans. For a dog to understand what we’re asking of them, it’s essential that the human learns first how to communicate correctly with the dog: with clarity, consistency, and respect. In my lessons, I guide you step by step so that you become the person your dog needs in order to feel safe, calm, and cooperative.
“A trained human can teach anything to their dog.”
✅ The lessons count towards mandatory dog training in Zurich
All the private and group lessons I offer officially count towards the mandatory dog training courses required in Zurich and Switzerland in general (depending on the canton and the age/origin of the dog).
📌 If you're not sure what is required in your case, feel free to contact me — I’ll be happy to help.

🐾 Lesson Schedule
🔹 Private lessons
Private lessons are available by appointment, Monday through Friday (excluding weekends).
✨ This is the most effective form of training, as I can fully dedicate myself to your dog — and to you.
In private lessons, I work exclusively with you, adapting the training to the needs, character, and learning pace of your dog, as well as your own way of communicating.
📌 Ideal for:
• New dog owners who want to start off on the right foot
• Dogs with challenging or intense behavior
• Families who need guidance at their own pace
➡️ Private training ensures faster progress, better understanding, and a stronger bond between you and your dog.
🔹 Group training sessions
Group training is a great opportunity to improve your dog’s obedience in a social environment. These sessions help your dog stay focused and follow commands even with distractions, such as other dogs and people.
Currently, group sessions take place every Thursday at 18:00 in Alstetten’s forest areas or public spaces in Zurich.
📅 A second group session day will be added soon.
✨ Group training is ideal for dogs that have mastered basic obedience but need help socializing and working in a group setting. You’ll also learn how to manage your dog’s behavior in public, ensuring a well-behaved companion in everyday situations.

📚 Mandatory Dog Training Courses – Canton of Zurich
For new dog owners or those moving to the canton of Zurich, it can often be challenging to understand which training courses are mandatory. Currently, the weight and height of your dog determine if official courses are required.
➤ If your dog (when fully grown) is:
Under 15 kg or 45 cm tall → Courses are not required, but highly recommended.
Over 15 kg or 45 cm tall → Mandatory:
• 4 Puppy lessons (8–16 weeks old)
• 10 Young Dog lessons (16 weeks to 18 months old)
➤ If you missed the 4 puppy lessons:
You need to complete:
• 10 Young Dog lessons and
• 10 Basic obedience lessons ("Erziehungskurs")
➤ If you’ve moved to Zurich with a dog aged 18 months to 8 years:
Required:
• 10 "Erziehungskurs" lessons
➤ If your dog is over 8 years old:
There is no requirement for training courses.
ℹ️ Although these courses are not always mandatory, I encourage you to participate in them because every dog and every human can learn better ways to coexist.
Especially for dogs with more intense behavior, private lessons are essential before joining group sessions for safety reasons.
📦 Course Content (Junghundekurs / Erziehungskurs):
The courses include:
• Understanding the dog’s body language
• Obedience, self-control, focus
• Building trust and connection
• Everyday skills for a balanced dog in the city
